Twin Peaks notes

Hey guys, 2026 is the year of conscientious consumption for me. I'm being super intentional about my content imbibement. I wanna watch more movies than I ever have and listen to more music and watch the most TV than I ever have in my life maybe. Why? I don't know. Maybe because the world at large feels dangerous and disgraceful and this winter has been long and beyond freezing and I need to imbibe art in order to feel safe and inspired until life becomes easily survivable again.

I watched Twin Peaks in January and February because I had a crush on a young dude who told me to watch it and I'm 30 and I should have watched it by now anyways so that gave me the jumpstart I needed. When I started, I realized I watched Twin Peaks before, like 4 times but I got stuck and wouldn't watch past season 1 episode 6 each time, no idea why. One time my mom and I put it on in the background when we painted her living room and I didn't follow along. My siblings used to call me Killer Bob. I didn't even know the plot. So this time around in the spirit of conscientious consumption and because I felt like a freak for watching it over and over and not knowing a goddamn thing about the story, I wrote down every thought I had while watching. It was really fun and made me feel important. And the show moved me, like, I was able to experience the story deeply and meaningfully cus I made myself accountable to it. So, anyways, here are my thoughts, feelings, or anything I thought was notable or remarkable in chronological order of the complete series, Twin Peaks season 1 and 2 without episode references because I didn't keep track of them. Can't believe I finally completed it.

This is such a tragic storyline
